Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies.

Dearest God,
We love you. Thank you for your blessings and favor on us. Please bless my children abundantly and please reunite us. Thank you for your loving kindness on all of us, your children.
Amen.

Dearest Alfred and Albert,

May God shower his blessings, grace and wisdom on you.
Your mommy's blessings are always with you.

Do you remember Santa Claus used to visit our street and go around the cul-de-sac in front of our Plainsboro home sweet home. You both would be so happy to see him on his fire truck.

This evening Santa Claus visited our town on top of a large fire truck. He was standing in the middle with two firefighters on either side. There was a fire truck procession with flashing lights and sirens, with little fire trucks in front and back of two big fire trucks. Santa Claus on top of the first big fire truck. Santa Claus came down the fire truck, raised his hand high up as he walked to the children and gave them hugs and gifts.

Seeing Santa Claus on the fire truck brought sweet memories of you both and your joy when you saw Santa Claus. It also brought a little pain that you both are not with me and are being alienated from me on purpose all these years. God will reunite us and God will reveal the truth to you and you will realize the deception to you and me, when you grow older. We will not worry about things not in our control, but will do our the best to get reunited with each other and trust God to bestow justice to us. You will do your best to study very hard and be bright and intelligent gentlemen of the future and we will do our best in everything we think, do and say in accordance with the principles of God, our loving heavenly father.

Your Plainsboro elementary school teachers used to tell me that you are happy children and had the sweetest smiles. I love you both and your handsome smiles. You both have the world's best and cutest smiles.

Smile, the world looks better that way.

When I was in elementary school, in the morning before school began, I used to wait for my primary school principal, who is a nun, to come down the stairs on the hill, on which the convent was, to the primary school. I liked her a lot and she liked me too. We would pass the colorful love birds and talking parrots that wished us "Good Morning". We would go to her primary school principal's office and I would watch her feed the gold fish and little turtles in the aquarium.  My primary school principal would write on the palm of my hand, below the thumb, "God loves you, Bindu" with her red ink pen. While she did her work, I would go to the room beside her office, which was the catechism class room for the 3rd and 4rth graders. There, on the shelf were many books about the saints and bible stories that I would read before our assembly school bell rang. She visits my parents and stays with them even now, when she visits Bangalore.

Mother Teresa of Calcutta was called the living saint. She was a very humble, pious, caring and courageous person. His Holiness Pope Francis announced that Blessed Mother Teresa will be canonized as Saint in September 2016.

I like the following quotes by Mother Teresa.

Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies.

Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile.

Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.

Peace begins with a smile.

I'm a little pencil in the hand of a writing God, who is sending a love letter to the world.

I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much.

If you are humble nothing will touch you, neither praise nor disgrace, because you know what you are.

Do it anyway
People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.
Give the best you have…and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.
In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.

Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.

Some people come in our life as blessings. Some come in our life as lessons.

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is a beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.

Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is costly, care for it.
Life is wealth, keep it.
Life is love, enjoy it.
Life is mystery, know it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is a sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is Life, fight for it!

‎Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.

God speaks in the silence of the heart. Listening is the beginning of prayer.

May God bless you. Your mommy's blessings are with you always.

Your mommy loves you and sends her pure love, warm hugs and sweet kisses to you.

With lots of love, prayers and blessings,
Your loving mommy,
Bindu Philips
